Career Resources
Below are resources for students searching for job and career opportunities.

Job Corps
Job Corps helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.

At Job Corps, students have access to room and board while they learn skills in specific training areas for up to three years. In addition to helping students complete their education, obtain career technical skills and gain employment, Job Corps also provides transitional support services, such as help finding employment, housing, child care, and transportation. Job Corps graduates either enter the workforce or an apprenticeship, go on to higher education, or join the military.

Oregon Youth Challenge Program
The Oregon National Guard Youth Challenge Program (OYCP) is Oregon’s only accredited statewide alternative high school. The program is tuition free. Eligible individuals are accepted from all 36 counties in Oregon. The school is a non-traditional model that operates similar to a military academy. The program is guided by military principles, structure and self-discipline. Cadets are eligible to earn a high school diploma, GED or credit recovery of 8 certified credits from required class work completion. The school is accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) and approved by the Oregon Department of Education (ODE).
