A woman with dark hair and a warm smile looks directly at the camera.Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

Welcome to the Cascade Opportunity Center where we are committed to use innovative approaches for educating students with an emphasis on personalized learning, in a safe and supportive environment- every day with every student. This includes creating individualized programs combining career/technical education, college/career counseling, mental health supports, participation in extracurricular activities.   Students are also involved with community service and volunteer projects with our school-based garden program, while also being connected with job readiness opportunities around the local area.

At the Cascade Opportunity Center, teachers and staff work together to teach students more than academics in a non-traditional school setting.  We believe that students learn best when they have a sense of belonging, safety and empowerment while at school.  Only then can students focus on achieving their current academic and future goals.  Here at the OC, we envision students using their skills to live out their dream careers so they make this world a better place for future generations.    We use a compass as our school symbol for remembering to skillfully navigate our paths, empower one another, succeed in life, and hold on to a sense of wonder about the world around them.

Partnering with families is of high importance to us. I encourage you to stay connected with our district through this website, social media, and our regular communications. Your involvement is essential to the success of our schools, and we look forward to working together to create an exceptional educational experience for all students. Thank you for your continued support of Cascade Opportunity Center. Together, we will achieve great things!

Warm regards,
Marie Thompson
